Software Installation

Click here to begin the installation process. Depending on your system configuration, you will see a File Download / Security Warning prompt that contains several buttons (Run, Save and Cancel). Click the "Run" button to begin the installation. Follow the on screen prompts to complete the installation.

If you already have the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 system components installed:

Please click the "Install" button when asked if you want to install the application from RadioTraffic.com.

After this step completes, you will see the RadioTraffic.com login prompt. Please use the provided user name and password to sign in.

If you do not already have the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 system components installed:

It may take a while to update your system and may require a reboot and you will need administrative rights in order to install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 system components. The setup.exe version of the installation will automatically determine what components you need and download them directly from Microsoft. This does take a bit of time, so please plan accordingly.

If, however, you would like to pre-install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 system components in an effort to speed up our installation process, there are several ways you can do this:

  • Depending on the version of Windows you are using, you might be able to get these components using the Windows Update tool included with your copy of Windows. If you are familiar with this process, please feel free to utilize it.
  • Using the Web Installer from Microsoft. This is the simplest, most direct way to install. Remember, you need administrative access in order to make these type of system changes. You can download the Web Installer directly from Microsoft. The Web Installer will review what you currently have installed on your computer and download just what you need. Again, this can take some time. However, by doing this prior to upgrading RadioTraffic, you can continue to use RadioTraffic while these components are updated. A reboot may be required upon completion.
  • If you would like to download the Local Installer (which contains the full set of components) a single time from the internet and use that local file to update multiple computers, you can use this link.

Click the "Run" button when the "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?" prompt is displayed.

The installation will then verify if you have the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 system components installed. If it hasn't been installed on your PC, you will be prompted to install it. Please click the "Accept" button to accept and agree to the Microsoft Software user license agreement. The installation will now download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 system components and can take a while depending on your internet connection, computers processing, etc.

Once the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 system components have been installed, your PC may need to be restarted to complete the installation. If so, follow the on screen prompt asking you to restart by click the "Yes" button.

After the computer restarts, you will be asked if you want to run the setup.exe file, please click the "Run" button to continue installation.

Please click the "Install" button when asked if you want to install the application from RadioTraffic.com.

After this step completes, you will see the RadioTraffic.com login prompt. Please use the provided user name and password to sign in.

Note: If your contract doesn't specify Essentials, Essentials 2013, Essentials Plus, Essentials Plus 2013, Premier, Premier 2013, Premier 2014 or Premier 2015, you are licensed for either TrafficXP or Traffic1234. The term "Public Version" or "Official Version" has also been used to describe what is now known as TrafficXP. At one point, we had a version that we referred to as the "Private Version"; this version has since been retired, use TrafficXP instead. Traffic1234 uses the same installation as TrafficXP.
