Introduction

RadioTraffic.com converts to a specific BSI WaveStation log format.

Edit

Station Configuration

To configure RadioTraffic.com to work with BSI WaveStation, you will first need modify the station configuration to utilize BSI WaveStation as the automation system. In the administration module, open 'Stations'. Select the station you want to configure and double click. Once the station configuration is visible, select the 'Files' tab. Select the 'Product' to BSI WaveStation using the drop down selection tool. The 'Automation Log Path' is where RadioTraffic.com will export the log to, so set this to the file system folder that BSI WaveStation will pull the file from. The 'Station Identifier' will need to match the 'station number' described in the BSI WaveStation User Manual (which is a number from 0 to 9).

Edit

Cart Numbers

BSI WaveStation system can use cart number 5 digit alpha-numeric cart numbers.

Edit

Automation Commands

We support sequence #, +, @ and * (translated to a blank space) sequence commands. Additionally, we support the & and [M] variants. These are exported as MACRO lines. Use the in the "Command" field and use the "Cart Number" for the command number used in BSI WaveStation. We also support a special format for these so they will export as AUDIO LINES; simply double them (ie. ##, ++, @@ and **).

Log Notes

Log Notes are currently not exported.

Programs

Edit

Breaks

Break markers do not automatically export to the BSI WaveStation export and are used strictly inside of RadioTraffic.com as a means of scheduling.

Edit

Automatic Log Reconciliation

We also support automatic log reconciliation for the BSI WaveStation as-aired logs. To configure this feature, you need to determine where these files are located on your network and use that path to configure the "Aired Log Path".

The file name is expected to be YYMMDD.lst; YY is two digit year, MM is two digit month and DD is two digit day.
